Uncle Roger Currier was married to my Mother's sister Betty Baker before the war and of course I never knew him. I have become a WWII family historian and would love to come to the reunion. I also have a number of photos of my Aunt at the launching and others of UNcle Roger that I would like to find a home for. I am reading Neptune's Inferno re: the lost of the USS Atlanta. It is perhaps the closest I have come to understanding that night battle. My Dad fought in the PTO w/the US Army 96th Division at Leyte Gulf and Okinawa.
